Soul Sisters mission is to convey the message of value, purpose, service and evangelism to the women of HPCC and the community.
Welcome Soul Sisters! Many blessings sisters in Christ! I want to share with you the story of how Soul Sisters’ began. The Soul Sisters ministry of HPCC was born out of a call to full time women’s ministry that the Lord had ignited deep in my heart back in April of 2009. I wasn’t sure how the Lord would accomplish it, but I was sure of Him! I then took the steps I knew to take, and through prayer and trust, left the rest to our Lord. I made the decision to enroll in a Christian Ministries degree program and shortly thereafter was blessed with an offer to attend a Renevore Spiritual Formation conference in San Antonio during the summer of 2009. Along with attending the conference, I had the opportunity to interview several women’s leaders from the area in an effort to create the vision He desired for a future women’s ministry. Once fall arrived, the idea to form a local Christian Women’s Connection (CWC) surfaced. As a member of the state CWC board, coupled with my desire to be used in full time ministry, the offer was extended to me to prayerfully begin the formation of a women’s ministry at HPCC. Since that day, the Lord has blessed us beyond measure in ways I can humbly say I never dreamt possible from the dynamic group of women who graciously serve on the board to the spectacular receptiveness of the people of HPCC. The Lord is moving, girls! We are so excited you are along for the ride! Thankful to serve along side you! Juli Banks President of Soul Sisters HPCC Ephesians 3:20 “ Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” | |
